Favorite recipe for every kids. Quick and easy recipe for tasty chocolate cake. For more decoration you can sprinkle some stars, gems, glitters, fruits on it. Chocolate cake with chocolate spread or frosting will be cherry on top. Your kids will love to eat this cake. Best for small gatherings and desserts.

INGREDIENTS:

  • All purpose flour – 200 gram
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp
  • Egg – 4
  • Cocoa powder – 60 gram
  • Baking powder – 1 – 1/2 tsp
  • Chocolate essence – 1-1/2 tsp
  • Small chocolate pieces 1 cup

For Icing

  • Icing sugar – 200 gram
  • Cocoa powder – 2 tbsp
  • Red food color – 1 drop
  • White butter – 175 gram
  • Silver balls – 2 tbsp

DIRECTIONS FOR CHOCOLATE CAKE

Strain the flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder in a large bowl. Separate 1-1/2 tbsp of the mixture. Put 1-1/2 cups of butter and sugar in a pot and whisk so that it becomes creamy. Now add the eggs one by one, beat them well.

Wrap the chocolate pieces well in 1 tbsp of flour. Slowly add the flour mixture to the cream like mixture, and stir well. Mix the chocolate essence, then add the flour coated chocolate pieces and fold lightly.

Coat oil around the cake tins. Pour the batter into two cake tins (one large and one small). Place them in a preheated oven at 160 degree C and bake them. Let the cakes to cool down completely.

NOW ICING

Strain the icing sugar and add butter in it, then beat until its creamy. To make the chocolate icing, add cocoa powder to the icing.

Place the small cake on top of the big one. Spread the chocolate icing over the prepared cake. Decorate with with silver balls, and chocolate pieces as you desired.

Your tasty chocolate cake is ready. Serve and enjoy……
