Steps to make easy carrot cake at home

INGREDIENTS

  • Flour – 2 cup
  • Carrot – 2 cup
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Ghee – 1/2 cup
  • Vinegar – 1/2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence – 1/4 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • Baking soda – 1 tsp
  • Milk powder – 2 tbsp

Directions for carrot cake

  • Wash and dry carrots properly. Then peel and grate carrots.
  • Put kadhai on low flame with salt in it for preheat.
  • Now add lukewarm milk in a separate bowl. Add melted ghee, vanilla essence, vinegar ; Mix it well for 10 minutes. add sugar and mix it properly.
  • Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and milk powder ; stir it until it become a smooth paste.
  • Now add grated carrots and dry fruits as per your choice.
  • Add 2-3 tbsp of milk if needed
  • Set butter paper in cake tin and fill with batter prepared.
  • Put the cake tin in the preheated kadhai and cover it.
  • Keep it on low flame for 30-45 minutes. take a toothpick to check if the cake is ready or not.
  • If toothpick comes out dry it means your cake is ready. turn off the flame and put the tin out off the kadhai to cool down.
  • Once its room temperature demold the cake and serve it.

For more flavor you can add sunflower or pumpkin seeds for more goodness and flavor. You can also bake this carrot cake in microwave or oven as you prefer.
