DIRECTIONS:

STEP 1 KOFTA

Firstly to make koftas grate or mash paneer in a bowl or open plate then add mashed boiled potatoes in it along with finely chopped green chili and ginger in it. Now its time to add salt and garam masala in it. You need to mix all the ingredients together nicely; you can also mask and rub the ingredients together in your hand. Once the batter is mixed now make small balls of it.

Now heat some oil in a kadhai enough to fry the balls. Once the oil is heated add the balls in it and fry them until they are golden brown from each side. Crispy and crunchy; keep them aside to drain excess oil.

STEP 2 GRAVY

Now heat some oil in a pan along with some butter. Now add whole spices (elaichi, laung, kali mirch, tej patta, jeera) in it and cook them well. Add garlic cloves in it along with green chilies along with roughly chopped onions, tomatoes. Cook them well then add cashews and magaj seeds in that pan. Mix them well before adding red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt in it. After stirring them well add some water in it and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Let it cool then add all the ingredients into mixer grinder and make a smooth paste of it.

STEP 3 FINAL PART

Add some oil in pan along with jeera, Kashmiri red chili powder and the gravy we made before. Mix all of them nicely for 3-4 minutes; add kofta balls in it. Garnish it with some fresh cream and chopped green coriander and mix them.

Your tasty malai kofta is ready to be served and enjoyed.
