Detailed recipe for almond strawberry pancakes. Easy and quick to cook. Loved by kids very much. It has many health benefits. Best recipe for kids to consume in breakfast. Pancakes are enrich in protein and it also improves digestion health of kids. This recipe will pleasure your taste buds and cravings while taking care of your health. Pancakes can be made by many styles but in today’s recipe we will make it with whole wheat flour.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Whole wheat flour – 1.5 cup
  • Almond – 1 cup
  • Strawberries – 300 gm
  • Cinnamon – 1tsp
  • Vanilla essence – 1tsp
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
  • Desi ghee / butter – 1/4 cup
  • Jaggery/ sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Milk – 2-3 tbsp
  • Yogurt – 1 cup
  • For garnish (some almonds and strawberries)

DIRECTIONS TO MAKE PANCAKES:

Very first step is wash and clean the strawberries and then chop them into small pieces. while keeping some aside blend rest of the strawberries in a thick smooth paste. Now take raw almonds and blend them too in a blending jar make fine powder of them.

Strain the almond powder with a sieve in a bowl then add whole wheat flour in that bowl along with cinnamon powder and baking soda. Keep this dry ingredient bowl aside for sometime.

Take another bowl, then add yogurt and baking soda in it. Mix them well and keep it aside to rest for 2-3 minutes. Till that time whisk sugar powder with ghee or butter in a bowl. Once they are combined properly together then add yogurt mixture, vanilla essence and milk in it. Mix all off them together nicely.

Now its time to mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients along with strawberry syrup and some chopped strawberries. Mix them well in a smooth batter.

When the batter is ready, take small portions with spoon and cook pancakes on a non stick pan on low flame.

keep on dropping so ghee or butter so that it don’t stick to the pan.

Serve them warm, top them with sliced strawberries and almonds.
