Quick and easy recipe to make delicious malai kofta in authentic style. Its a very delicious malai kofta recipe loved by all the guests.
INGREDIENTS For malai kofta:
- Paneer/ cheese – 250 gram
- Cashew, Raisins – 1 tbsp
- Cocoa powder – 50 gram
- Salt
- Potatoes – 250 gram
- Bread – 2,3 slices
- Corn flour – 1 tbsp
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
FOR MASALA
- Onions – 2 or 3
- Tomatoes – 250 gram
- Ginger paste – 1 tbsp
- Khaskhas – 1 tbsp
- Garam masala – 1/2 tbsp
- Red chili powder – 1/2 tbsp
- Cream or Malai – 1 tbsp
- Ghee – 3 tbsp

DIRECTIONS:
Boil the potatoes. Peel and grate the boiled potatoes. Soak the bread in water and squeeze it and add it to the boiled potatoes.
Add flour, salt and chilli powder and mix them well. Now grate the paneer in it. Add sugar, salt, garam masala, dry fruits and cream or malai and mix them well. Now make 2 small balls of this mixture.
Take a little potato mixture and spread it on your hands. now add paneer mixture balls in the middle and close it well. Fry these balls in hot ghee until they become gold brown and crispy from outside.
Now grind the onions and tomatoes. Heat enough ghee to fry onions in a pan. Add the tomatoes when the onions are brown. Add ginger and khaskhas paste in that pan and let them cook for 2 minutes. Now add all the basic spices and fry them. When masala starts releasing ghee, add cream or malai in it after that add a little water and cook it well.
Put the kofta first in a bowl. Pour gravy from the top. Decorate it with green coriander and cream. You can also put some dry fruits as decoration. Malai koftas are ready serve them hot and enjoy.
