Best and most easy recipe of paneer lababdar. Tastes exactly like restaurants. Paneer lababdar is bit Spicer and tangier. If guests have arrived this recipe will cover you. It is a little bit different from shahi paneer because shahi paneer is milder and sweeter.
INGREDIENTS FOR PANEER LABABDAR:
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Jeera – 1tsp
- Bay leaf – 1
- Cinnamon – 1 inch
- Cloves – 4
- Green cardamom – 2
- Black pepper – 6
- Onion – 3 medium
- Garlic cloves – 6-7
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Melon seeds – 1tbsp (optional)
- Cashews – 6-7
- Tomatoes – 4 medium
- Kashmiri red chillies – 4-5
- Salt as per taste
- Water – 300ml
- Cream – 2tbsp
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- Chopped ginger – 1tbsp
- Chopped garlic – 1 tbsp
- Green chili chopped – 1
- Chopped onion – 1 medium
- Chopped tomato – 1 medium
- Turmeric powder
- Coriander powder
- Degi mirch powder
- Garam masala powder
- Sugar – 1tsp
- Kasuri methi – 1tsp
- Paneer
- Fresh coriander leaves

DIRECTIONS:
First step is to take a kadai and heat some oil in it. Now add whole spices like green cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf, jeera, black pepper, and cloves stir them will then add roughly chopped onions along with sliced green chili, ginger and garlic. Cook them well until the onions are golden brown in color. Once you reach that stage its time to add melon seeds (completely optional) along with cashews, roughly chopped tomatoes and dry kashmiri chilies. Stir and cook them well. Then add bit of salt in it just to soften the tomatoes and further cook it for 2-3 minutes keep on stirring then add some water in kadai. Cook until the water is dried completely.
After that add fresh cream in kadai and again mix all the ingredients together. Now put this mixture into blender jar and blend it well. Make smooth paste of this mixture.
Then again take kadai and put some butter in it along with finely chopped ginger, garlic and chilies. Mix them well then add chopped onions; put powdered spices like red chili, turmeric, coriander, garam masala in it. Mix the onions well with masala add some water if needed.
Then add chopped tomatoes in it and cook them well. Add the puree we made earlier in kadai make sure to strain it before adding for smooth texture. Mix all the ingredients together. Its time to add sugar and kasuri methi in it along with paneer cubes. Mix them well together.
Last step decorate it with fresh green coriander and butter cubes.
Your tasty paneer lababdar is ready to be served and enjoyed.
